Plans have been submitted to build two new hotels at Manchester Airport.
The hotels would be located on a three-acre site next to the rail station at Manchester Airport and near the M56 motorway spur.
The site is currently being used as a car park.
The project would create a nine-storey, 375-bedroom 4 -star hotel alongside a nine-storey, 254-bedroom 3-star hotel.
The largest hotel would be a Hilton Garden Inn and would also feature a skybar. The second hotel is expected to be a Hampton by Hilton Hotel.
Completion date for the project is scheduled for early spring 2019.
The development would increase the capacity of hotel rooms near Manchester Airport which is planned to grow to 45 million passengers a year by 2030. The hotels would also support the new Airport City North development.
Manchester City Council has set no date as yet to consider the proposals.
