Kensington Roof Gardens, one of London’s most unusual venues, is to close.
The venue confirmed its closure in a statement saying: “In the face of unpredictable market conditions and a challenge to remain profitable, sadly we can confirm we have closed our doors.”
Kensington Roof Gardenscover 6000 sq-mt on top of the former Derry & Toms building in Kensington High Street.
The Roof Gardens date back to the 1930’s and have been part of the Virgin Group since 1981.
The Grade II-listed venue had extensive events facilities including its restaurant Babylon.
The Roof Gardens will continue to be one of London’s landmarks whether with or without events and banqueting facilities.
