Construction is underway on new events space at the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield in Staffordshire.
Set for completion in August 2018, the new venue will be known as 'Aspects at the National Memorial Arboretum'.
Facilities will include banqueting space for up to 300 guests plus a new bar area providing informal space for drinks receptions, registrations, break-out sessions and evening functions.
The new building will also feature a rear terrace overlooking the Arboretum’s gardens.
Aspects at the National Memorial Arboretum will complement the meeting facilities in the Arboretum’s Remembrance Centre which opened in October 2016.
The National Memorial Arboretum is part of The Royal British Legion. Alongside important national events, it also hosts a wide range of private events including banquets and luncheons, conferences, reunions and smaller meetings.
The new revenue streams created by the events space will assist with securing the future sustainability of the Arboretum, ensuring that National Memorial Arboretumremains a free-to-enter site.
The National Memorial Arboretum is located in the centre of England in Alrewas, Staffordshire with good access to all the Midland’s motorways.
