The Torridon hotel in the Scottish Highlands has just been awarded five-star accreditation by the AA.
The Torridon is set on the edge of a sea loch overlooked by the Torridon mountains.
The Torridon has 18 luxurious, individually-designed bedrooms combining Victorian character and contemporary design with bold colours.
The hotel’s gourmet ‘1887 Restaurant’ offers dishes using locally-sourced produce.
Torridon Outdoors offers groups tailor-made activities from walking in the hills to Munro-bagging, and mountain biking to sea kayaking.
Whisky Tasting is available from The Torridon’s range of 365 whiskies - one for each day of the year.
“We are very happy to have been given a five-star listing by the AA. The Torridon offers a consistently high level of service, we are continuously refreshing bedrooms and 1887 is renowned for its top-class menus – to receive recognition for this is extremely satisfying” says owner Dan Rose-Bristow.
The Torridon is located at By Achnasheen, Wester Ross in the North West Highlands of Scotland.
