The Tommyfield in Kennington, south London, has just launched six new bedrooms on the top two floors of the pub. Individually designed, they feature either a superking or king-size bed, Egyptian cotton linen, an HD Freeview television, free wireless internet, a Nespresso machine, black-out curtains or blinds, a mini-fridge and a safe.
The Tommyfield was named after the nineteenth century market which was home to Britain’s first fish and chip shop. Facilities at The Tommyfield include the Master Room a first floor room accommodating up to 100 guests standing or 40 seated for a private event or working lunch. The room is equipped with a Bose sound system, iPod facilities, wi-fi and a large projector screen.
The Tommyfield is located in Kennington Lane, Kennington Cross - five minutes from Waterloo.
