The Grand Hotel & Spa, York has just opened 100 new bedrooms - in effect doubling the size of the hotel.
The Grand Hotel & Spa, York now has 207 bedrooms.
The new rooms are part of a £15million redevelopment at the Grand Hotel & Spa. They have been inspired by the hotel’s Edwardian heritage as the headquarters of the North Eastern Railway.
The new bedrooms follow the opening last year of The Rise Restaurant, Terrace & Bar plus the refurbishment of Hudsons by Craig Atchinson, The Grand’s three-AA-rosette fine dining restaurant.
Construction work is set to begin on the Arrival Lounge and possibly a new celebrity cookery school.
The Grand Hotel & Spa is located in Station Rise alongside York’s historic wall and a short walk from York station.
