Milton Keynes Council has approved plans for a new 14-storey hotel in the centre of Milton Keynes.
If all goes to plan 'Hotel La Tour' will open in 2020. It will be the tallest building in the Milton Keynes and will feature a top floor viewing platform plus an art exhibition, which will be named ‘SeeMK’.
Hotel La Tour will have 251 bedrooms, conference and leisure facilities plus a rooftop restaurant and bar.
The site for the proposed Hotel La Tour is near the city’s Marlborough Gate junction. It is currently used as a coach park.
The first, and so far only, Hotel La Tour in the UK opened in the centre of Birmingham in 2012. The hotel was subsequently acquired by the Dalata Hotel Group and now flies the Clayton Hotel flag.
