A September 2018 opening is planned for the new 172-bedroom, purpose-built Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre in Birmingham.
The hotel forms a key part of the University of Birmingham’s redevelopment and will be the first hotel to be operated by the university.
The four-storey Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre will include a restaurant and bar plus a flexible range of meeting and conference rooms with free parking and free wi-fi throughout.
All the conference and meeting rooms will have plenty of natural daylight. The largest room will accommodate up to 250 delegates for a theatre style meeting or 200 cabaret style.
Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre will sit alongside the recently renovated Arts and Crafts style Horton Grange and Garth House on the Birmingham University main campus.
Garth House has meeting rooms and event spaces plus seven bedrooms.
Hornton Grange has six boutique-style bedrooms, all refurbished with period detail plus new events space.
Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre is two miles from Birmingham city centre. It is a six-minute train journey from Birmingham New Street to University station.
Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre is now a member Preferred Hotels & Resorts. It will join the group’s Connect Collection.
