The first Wilde Aparthotel by Staycity has just been officially opened in London.
It is the first of a planned range of aparthotels named in honour of the Irish playwright and poet Oscar Wilde.
Merlin Holland, grandson of Oscar Wilde, was the guest of honour at the official opening held on the Strand in central London.
Wilde Aparthotel by Staycity has 106 rooms - a choice of studios, superior studios and double rooms over eight floors including three sky level studios.
Each apartment is fitted with a kitchenette including utensils, dishes, a fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave.
Staycity intends to roll out the Wilde brand in gateway city centre locations throughout Europe.
A Wilde Aparthotel by Staycity is scheduled to open in King’s Stables Road in Edinburgh at the end of 2019 with a third UK unit planned in Manchester on St Peter’s Square with an opening scheduled for 2020.
