A new £25million conference centre is under construction alongside the 140-year-old Winter Gardens complex.
A new Hampton by Hilton Blackpool will be opening 21stJune 2018 with 130 bedrooms. This is just one ofsix new hotels, including a planned five-star hotel, which will add 700 new bedrooms to the town’s existing stock.
Now the electrified rail link from Blackpool through to Preston on the West Coast Mainline has just been completed and successfully trialed – with passenger services starting next week.
The new upgraded rail link offers the prospect of a direct high-speed rail service between Blackpool and London.
