Plans have been approved for new hotels to be built in the cities of Lincoln, Wolverhampton and Plymouth.
In Lincoln, a new 63-bedroom hotel is planned in the city centre.
The hotel will occupy a site on Clasketgate in a conservation area in the centre of Lincoln. The existing building on the site will be demolished and replaced with a new six-storey hotel.
The hotel will have a ground floor bar and restaurant.
Details of the hotel operator and the anticipated opening date await publication.
In Wolverhampton, plans to open a banqueting hall and hotel have been approved by the City of Wolverhampton Council.
A 600-capacity banqueting hall together with a 30-bedroom hotel will occupy land formerly known as the Volvo Bridge Cross Garage in Parkfield Road.

In Plymouth, a 21-storey student block and hotel scheme has been granted planning permission
The development will be on the site of the former Money Centre at Drake Circus. The new scheme will include a 105-bedroom hotel, 20,000 sq-ft of office space and 1,603 sq-ft of flexible retail space.
The construction period is expected to run over two-and-a-half years. Work is expected to start in 2019 or 2020.
The site forms part of Plymouth’s designated ‘tall building zone’ on the regeneration scheme adjacent to Plymouth Station.
