Plans have been published for a multimillion-pound redevelopment and extension of Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa on Merseyside.
The four-star resort currently includes two golf courses of 18 and nine holes, a 27-bay driving range, a golf shop, health spa and 76 newly refurbished bedrooms - all on a 200-acre site.
The extension would include a 63-bedroom extension to the existing hotel plus a golf clubhouse and events space for more than 300 people plus an extension to the restaurant.
The development would also see 22 eco-lodges located within the resort grounds with a new spa proposed for the 10th hole fairway lake.
Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa currently has four purpose-built air-conditioned conference suites. The largest suite -
The Ambassador Suite - will seat from 60 to 350 people. It is equipped with the latest technology and features a terrace overlooking 132 acres of scenic golf course.
Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa is located in Southport Old Road on the outskirts of Southport and with good access to both Liverpool and the north west motorway network.
