Whitworth Art Gallery reopens in Manchester in autumn 2014. The Gallery, part of the University of Manchester, has almost completed a £15 million redevelopment which has totally transformed the 125-year-old Whitworth. The development will double its public space with new state-of- the-art facilities including expanded gallery spaces and a new Art Garden.

Whitworth Art Gallery is set in a historic park and houses an internationally important fine art, textile and wallpaper collection.

Whitworth Art Gallery will be available to hire for events. They will suit small lunches, talks, presentations, dinners, drinks receptions and networking events - ideally events held outside normal opening hours.

Whitworth Art Gallery is located in Whitworth Park, opposite Manchester Royal Infirmary and about 1.5 miles south of Manchester city centre.
