Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts are to be the operators of the new 98-bedroom five-star hotel currently under development in the Ten Trinity Square building in the City of London.
The new hotel will also include 41 private residences, a private members’ club, two restaurants and a spa. The restoration and redevelopment is expected to be completed in 2016.
Ten Trinity Square is a Grade II-listed building which opened in 1922. It overlooks the Tower of London and was the former headquarters of the Port of London Authority. In 1946 it hosted the reception for the inaugural meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Ten Trinity Square is owned by the Reignwood Group, a China-based hospitality company which also has interest in resorts, golf courses, health and wellness centres and luxury residential properties.
Four Seasons currently has two hotels in the capital: Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and the Four Seasons London at Canary Wharf.
