Plans to develop a new hotel on Belfast's waterfront are progressing with an invitation from Belfast Harbour, the port’s operators, to hotel companies to submit ‘expressions of interest’.
Belfast Harbour's 20-acre, £250million City Quays development plan includes a new 150 to 200 bedroom upscale hotel which could be open by 2017.The hotel would be developed and owned by Belfast Harbour.
If and when it opens it will join venues on site including Titanic Belfast plus Waterfront Hall which will be doubling the size of its conference centre in a project scheduled to complete by early 2016.
