The Accor Group is planning to open two new hotels in Scotland next year, one in Edinburgh and one in Glasgow. This will take the Accor portfolio up to 20 properties in Scotland.

Telfer House in Miller Street, Glasgow is currently empty and neglected and undergoing extensive refurbishment. It will reopen as a 101-bedroom, eight-storey Ibis Styles hotel. Development work on the hotel began in October 2014 and Ibis Styles Glasgow is scheduled to open autumn 2015.
Ibis Styles offers an “all-inclusive” package including the bedroom, an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast and broadband internet access.
Miller Street is a short walk from Glasgow Central station.

In Edinburgh a new Mercure hotel with 110 bedrooms is opening in Gardner’s Crescent in spring 2015.
Mercure Hotel Edinburgh Quay will include Apple televisions in the bedrooms and there will be high-speed internet throughout the hotel.
Mercure Hotel Edinburgh Quay is located in the centre of Edinburgh a short walk from Haymarket station and Princes Street.
