The University of Westminster's Regent Street Cinema is expected to reopen in April 2015 following its £6million refurbishment. Dubbed the "birthplace of cinema" the Regent Street Cinema, housed within the University's Grade-II listed building, was used by the Lumiere brothers to perform their first moving picture show in the UK in 1896 but has since fallen into disrepair.
When it reopens, the main auditorium will be available to seat up to 200 delegates and will be available to hire for events such a private screenings, conferences and product launches.
