Hilton Hotels have announced the development of its first modular hotel at Bristol Airport. Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport will include 201-bedrooms, flexible meeting spaces, a 24-hour fitness room, parking for 120 cars and complimentary wi-fi. The hotel will also feature Hampton's ‘On the House’ signature breakfast.

It is a modular hotel  in that the hotel bedrooms and corridors will be manufactured in China before being transported to the UK for assembly on site. This is a format designed to increase the speed of construction as well as keeping construction costs to a minimum.

Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport is expected to open in spring 2016

Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport will be the first hotel to be developed at the airport, which is currently extending its terminal building. Bristol Airport saw record passenger volumes last year when 6.3 million people passed through the terminal. It was also named the world's most punctual airport in a league table measuring on-time performance based on data compiled from over 43 million flight records by aviation data provider, OAG.
