24 Royal Terrace is a small, luxury 16-bedroom hotel opening summer 2015 on the historic Royal Terrace in Edinburgh.
Formerly the Ailsa Craig Hotel, the building has recently undergone a million pound revamp, retaining and restoring its principal architectural features such as the ceiling cornices, stairwells and cupola, whilst adding a contemporary modern interior design plus the latest technology including super-fast wi-fi and speakers in all rooms.
The 24 Royal Terrace bar will include a wine wall and a whisky trolley. The hotel will also feature an impressive collection of local and international art.
The Royal Terrace is the longest continuous building of Georgian architecture in Edinburgh. It was built originally in the 1820's and boasts commanding views across the city to the Firth of Forth.
24 Royal Terrace is a short walk from Edinburgh's Waverley Station and is just less than ten miles from Edinburgh Airport.
