Plans have been submitted for a new 20-storey hotel in Chapel Street in Salford. The hotel together with three apartment blocks plus shops and town houses will form a new development alongside a railway viaduct at the junction of Chapel Street, Trinity Way and Gore Street.
The hotel will feature 206 bedrooms, 11 serviced apartments, five meeting rooms, a ground-level reception bar and restaurant and a rooftop 'sky bar'.
A new pedestrian route will connect Chapel Street to the New Bailey area on the opposite side of the railway viaduct and then to the Spinningfields area of central Manchester.
A preliminary decision is expected from Salford City Council by the end of July 2015.
