Building work has just started in the centre of Leeds converting a former car park and restaurant in Greek Street in the centre of Leeds into a new 10-storey hotel.
The new hotel, with 90-bedrooms, will be operated by Dakota Hotels. It will include a basement level restaurant and a ground floor bar and terrace area. The main lobby, meeting rooms, lounge area and gym facilities will be located on the first floor with the bedrooms and suites on the floors above.
The anticipated opening date is late 2017.
The Dakota Hotel chain has two hotels currently, in Glasgow and in Edinburgh.
