Expect to see a new name over the door at both the 142-bedroom Ramada Salford Quays Hotel and the 90-bedroom Ramada Birmingham Mailbox hotels.

Both have just been sold to new owners and will be managed by Valor Hospitality Limited who already operate a range of Holiday Inns, Best Western hotels and Hilton properties in the UK. A rebranding of both properties will follow.

Ramada Salford Quays is close to MediaCityUK, Manchester city centre and Old Trafford football and cricket grounds. It has a bar, restaurant, conference and business facilities.

Ramada Birmingham Mailbox, with similar facilities to its Salford namesake, is located in the Mailbox complex in central Birmingham, a few minutes walk from Birmingham New Street station.
