FC United, the football club formed by Manchester United fans left disillusioned after the Glazers took over the Old Trafford club, have recently moved into their new permanent stadium - Broadhurst Park in Moston, Manchester.
Broadhurst Park is the first new ground to be built and funded by a supporter-owned football club. The stadium, covered on all sides, with standing and seating in the main stand, has a 4,400 capacity.
The main stand includes a function room to accommodate between 300 and 400 guests plus three seminar rooms for the local community and businesses. There is also a medical suite, changing facilities and adjacent artificial pitch which will be used by the public throughout the week.
The stadium is also set to be one of the greenest. FC United is looking to create the first pollinator-friendly football stadium in the UK after supporters won an award to develop a landscaping project at the ground.
Broadhurst Park has good access from the M60 motorway from junctions 20 travelling clockwise and junction 22 travelling anti-clockwise. Newton Heath & Moston is the nearest Metrolink stop just under a mile from the stadium.
