It was formerly the Swallow Hotel Glasgow but in June 2015 the hotel became the GoGlasgow Urban Hotel. The first phase of the new hotel includes 117 new-look bedrooms, an 80 seater eatery “GoGrill” with a menu built around an open theatre kitchen with Josper charcoal grill plus a bar with inside and outside space as well as meeting facilities.
Phase 2 of the development, commencing spring 2016, will see additional meeting space introduced as well as a spa and treatment rooms.
Bedrooms in GoGlasgow Urban Hotel are a mix of singles, double and twin-bedded rooms with stylish soft furnishings, a wall-mounted flat screen television with Freeview and free wi-fi access throughout.
Event space at GoGlasgow Urban Hotel comprises two rooms to accommodate up to 200 guests: the Burrell and the Maxwell. Both rooms have natural daylight with a large bar, cloakroom and amenities plus direct ground floor access via a private entrance making them ideal for large corporate events, conferences and training that require registration and breakout space.
GoGlasgow Urban Hotel is located in Paisley Road West, just off the M8 motorway and close to the Ibrox Stadium, home of Glasgow Rangers FC. It is ten minutes by car into central Glasgow and fifteen minutes to Glasgow Airport.
