Lysaght Institute is a new venue option in Newport, South Wales. It was built by the firm of John Lysaght Ltd in 1928, as a venue for the Orb Steelworkers and their families to meet and socialise.
It reopened in 2012 following a £3million refurbishment as a meeting, conference and events venue. The building has retained its character with many of its original features intact including large balcony areas and landscaped gardens.
Lysaght Institute has a range of flexible, fully equipped meeting rooms to suit 1-to-1 interviews, meetings for up to ten delegates to conferences for 180 delegates. There is also an IT training suite with six computer stations.
All rooms are air-conditioned and wi-fi is free throughout. There is a reception area, plenty of breakout space, in-house catering and plentiful parking.
Lysaght Institute is located within a five minute drive of both the M4 at junction 24 and the centre of Newport.
