Robinson College at the University of Cambridge has just opened its brand new Crausaz Wordsworth Building with meeting and events space.
Facilities in the Crausaz Wordsworth Building include a fully air-conditioned, flat-floored Plenary Room with full length windows, loads of natural daylight and a three metre high ceiling. The Plenary Room is multi-functional space which will accommodate delegates in cabaret (72 delegates), classroom (80 delegates) or u-shape (64 delegates) styles.
The Plenary Room can also be used for exhibitions, poster sessions or as a dining area. It is fitted with very high specification audio visual equipment plus a full surround sound system - with an experienced AV technician on hand.
The Foyer is also light and airy and is equipped with background audio facilities and display screens for signage, Freeview television or for displaying content. It can be used for registration, tea and coffee breaks and for stand-up finger food or bowl food lunches.
Three syndicate rooms are located on the first floor of the Crausaz Wordsworth Building each accommodating up to 18 delegates boardroom style and each equipped with high specification audio visual equipment.
The Crausaz Wordsworth Building plus its gardens and terrace are available for private dining for up to 100 guests and drinks receptions for up to 225 guests.
A further 19 meeting rooms together with accommodation during vacation times can be found at the main Robinson College, a short walk away through the gardens.
Robinson College is one of the newest colleges in the University of Cambridge. It is located on the western outskirts of Cambridge with good access to the A14.
