Genting Resorts World opens at the NEC in Birmingham from 21st October 2015 in a phased opening over several weeks. Genting Resorts World is a leisure, retail and conference destination and it will house a hotel, cinema, retail outlets and a casino plus Vox, the conference and banqueting facility.
Facilities at Vox include five fully flexible meeting suites to accommodate up to 900 delegates for a theatre style meeting or 850 guests for a banquet - with foyer areas overlooking Pendigo Lake at the NEC.
The Vox Suites will feature the latest audio visual, sound and lighting equipment and complimentary wi-fi. Three Vox boardrooms will accommodate 16, 20 and 28 delegates.
The four-star Genting Hotel will open 2nd November 2015. Genting Hotel includes 178 bedrooms ranging from standard and superior to deluxe rooms and suites. All are air-conditioned with a Smart television with video streaming and catch-up, a media hub with full connectivity for laptops, smartphones and tablets, a Nespresso coffee machine, iron and ironing board and a safe.
Robata Bar and Grill is the Pan-Asian-themed restaurant with a choice of bars including the World Bar, the High Line New York Bar, the Sky Bar and a Sports Bar. Leisure facilities include a Medispa and gym.
There are two meeting rooms on each floor of the Genting Hotel for board meetings or small training sessions. Each is equipped with a conference phone, LCD screen and conference stationary plus complimentary wi-fi.
Vox and the Genting Hotel are both located on the NEC complex next door to the LG Arena. The Hilton Metropole and Crowne Plaza Hotels complete the circle around Pendigo Lake. Vox and the Genting Hotel are a ten minute walk from Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham International Station. The M42 motorway runs alongside with links to the M6 and M40 minutes away.
