Proposals to build a new 137-bedroom Dakota Deluxe hotel in Manchester look set to secure planning approval.
The hotel would be located in Ducie Street next to the Rochdale Canal in the Piccadilly Basin in the centre of Manchester. The site is currently used as a 90-space surface car park.
As well as 137 bedrooms, Dakota Deluxe Manchester would also include a 90-cover cocktail bar and a 150-cover restaurant grill. Plans also show a terrace fronting the canal, partially covered by a glass pergola, for the bar and restaurant.
The plan is due to be considered by Manchester City planners in early April.
