Hotel Indigo London - 1 Leicester Square has 95 bedrooms all furnished with ‘theatrical features’ reflecting the neighbourhood’s history and heritage.
There are three distinct bedroom designs representing different stages of putting on a theatrical production.
‘Scriptwriter Rooms’ feature drafts of scripts framed as artwork.
‘Backstage Rooms’ are complete with the technical fittings of a stage: spotlights, ropes and illuminated, flamboyant dressing room mirrors.
‘Auditorium Rooms’ capture the exclusive experience of a private theatre box.
All bedrooms have views across some of London’s most impressive landmarks. Seven rooms come complete with balconies overlooking Leicester Square.
The rooftop restaurant at Hotel Indigo London - 1 Leicester Square boasts floor-to-ceiling glass and a wrap-around balcony.
Further new Hotel Indigo properties are set to open later in 2018 including Hotel Indigo London – Aldgate, Hotel Indigo Brighton and Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon.

EEF Venues Engineers’ House in Bristol has launched a new meetings and events facility – The Fusion Wing.
The Fusion Wing has been created from reworking existing office and administration space within the venue.
The Fusion Wing consists of seven new meeting and training rooms, conference space and breakout space.
‘Colour’ is theme of the new space with a bright and contemporary palette used throughout and the rooms named after colours including Orange, Purple, Pink etc.
The launch of the Fusion Wing is part of a series of new openings and refurbishments taking place across the EEF Venues group. The company recently launched The Engine Room.
EEF Venues Engineers’ House is a Grade II-listed conference venue located in the Bristol suburb of Clifton Down. The venue includes 16 versatile meeting rooms with the largest room, the Clifton Suite, accommodating up to 170 delegates in a theatre style layout.

Searcys at The Gherkin in the City of London is planning to open five new private dining rooms and daytime conference and meeting spaces.
The rooms, on Level 38 of the Gherkin building, have been specially designed for ‘sky high’ gatherings and will be named, appropriately enough, after cloud formations: Alto, Cirrus, Stratus Cumulus and Nimbus.
The new rooms will offer spectacular views across London.
The new rooms will offer space for small conferences and meetings for up to 18 delegates together with larger rooms for groups of up to 130 guests.
The new rooms are scheduled to open 30thMay 2018.

InterContinental Hotels Group(IHG) is set to become largest luxury hotel operator in the UK in a deal which will also bring the Kimpton Hotels brand to the UK.
A portfolio of 13 hotels currently operated by Principal Hotels are to be rebranded by InterContinental Hotels Group(IHG).
The move follows the acquisition of Principal Hotels by the French group Foncière des Régions, which in turn has agreed with IHG to operate the properties going forward.
Principal Hotels portfolio comprise 12 hotels with 2200 bedrooms plus one hotel in development with 185 rooms.
This deal will enable IHG to launch its luxury boutique brand, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, in the UK, in prime locations in major city centres, including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
It will act as a catalyst for Kimpton’s growth in Europe.
This agreement will also strengthen IHG’s position in the upscale hotel segment in the UK.
