New owners of the former Arora Heathrow Hotel have signed an agreement with Hyatt Hotels who now plan to open a second Hyatt Place hotel at London Heathrow Airport following an extensive on-site refurbishment programme.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is expected to open in early 2017 with 350 bedrooms.

The new look hotel will feature a 24/7 ‘grab and go’ Gallery Market, a coffee and cocktail bar and a 24 hour fitness centre.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport will have seven meeting rooms accommodating from two to 100 delegates.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is around five minutes from all terminals at London Heathrow Airport and within easy reach of the M4 and M25.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport will join Hyatt Place London Heathrow Hayes which opened on nearby Uxbridge Road earlier this year.

The Monastery Manchester is currently undergoing a £3million development. The Monastery Manchester is currently undergoing a £3million development. The project will see a new front wing on the 150-year-old Grade II-listed building.

The new wing – The Welcome Wing – will be on the footprint of an original structure taken down in the 1960s. It will open early in 2017.

Restoration and conservation work in the Great Nave will also see floors repaired, altars stabilised and paint schemes protected and conserved.

The Welcome Wing will encompass 6600 sq-ft of space. The building will be carbon neutral by design, another step towards The Monastery gaining an ISO20121 Sustainability Event Management certificate.

The Welcome Wing will include a new bar, food and beverage service area as well as capacity for 400 guests for a drinks reception and various configurations for conference and events.

The Monastery is located in Gorton on the east side of Manchester. It has good access to the M60 at junction 24. It is five minutes by taxi from Manchester Piccadilly station and twenty minutes from Manchester International Airport

Hotel Gotham in Manchester has been voted World's Best New Hotel at the sixth annual World Boutique Hotel Awards ceremony held recently in London.

The 60-bedroom Hotel Gotham is set in an art-deco building in King Street, the central conservation area in Manchester. The former bank premises now feature an exclusive rooftop bar and a private members club.

Signature Living has just opened the doors  of Cardiff’s historic Coal Exchange for the public to view progress on the on-going £35million regeneration of this Grade II-listed building.

Building work started earlier this year to convert the building into The Exchange Hotel Cardiff – a hotel with 200 luxury bedrooms and a spa plus conference and events space.

The Coal Exchange in Cardiff was backdrop to the signing of the world’s first ever one million pound cheque and it also includes a First World War memorial. The building however was in a poor state of repair prior to its regeneration.

First phase of the Exchange Hotel Cardiff is expected to open spring 2017.
