Atrium Hotel Heathrow will be the next new hotel to open at London Heathrow Airport. It launches early 2019.  

Atrium Hotel will be a new-build, five-storey building flooded with natural daylight.

Atrium Hotel will have 581 stylish rooms all equipped with an en-suite shower room, free wi-fi, fridge, ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, desk area, under bed storage and wardrobe space.

Atrium Hotel will have major conference and events facilities with 36 meeting rooms and accommodating up to 700 guests.

Leisure facilities will include a gym and an indoor swimming pool.

Atrium Hotel Heathrow will be located in Great South West Road in Feltham, one stop from London Heathrow Airport on the tube and a two-minute walk from Hatton Cross tube station on the Piccadilly Line. Atrium Hotel Heathrow will also have 120 secure parking spaces.

The new dual-branded Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites Manchester – Oxford Road both open this summer. They are taking bookings from 5thAugust 2018 

The Crowne Plaza Manchester – Oxford Roadwill have 212 bedrooms including Club Rooms and a Club Lounge. Seven meeting rooms will seat up to 174 delegates for a theatre style meeting or 140 guests for a dinner.

There will be an Executive Boardroom and a Business Centre.

Leisure facilities will include a gym and a sauna.

The Crowne Plaza Manchester –Oxford Road will also have an outside terrace area.

Staybridge Suites Manchester – Oxford Roadwill have 116 studio and one–bedroom suites all with fully equipped kitchens – with a complimentary hot and cold buffet breakfast served in the Hub Kitchen.

Staybridge guests will also have full access to the bar and restaurant in the Crowne Plaza.

Both hotels are located next to the Alliance Manchester Business School on the University of Manchester campus - a five-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road station.

Hilton Hotels Group has published plans to open a Doubletree by Hilton in Harrogate.

The property, currently the Majestic Hotel, is set to undergo a £15million refurbishment.

It will reopen in 2019 as the Doubletree by Hilton Harrogate - the first Hilton-branded hotel in the town.

Doubletree by Hilton Harrogate will have 170 bedrooms, a restaurant, lounge bar, champagne bar and terrace.

Leisure facilities will include a gym, pool and spa.

Business-wise, Doubletree by Hilton Harrogate will have nine conference and events suites to accommodate up to 500 guest plus six smaller breakout spaces and boardrooms.

The Majestic Hotel is a major Victorian landmark and well-respected hotel in the town. Doubletree by Hilton Harrogate is set to continue the tradition.

Dubai-based Jumeirah Group is planning to launch its first Zabeel House hotel in the UK in Shoreditch, London in 2019. 

Zabeel House is Jumeirah’s new branding. It is ‘high on design and low on complexity’.

Zabeel House will offer ‘brilliant basics and unexpected extras set in an upscale, casual environment, perfect for anyone looking for adventure, socialising or somewhere fabulous to retreat to.’

Jumeirah Group has also announced that it will open another new property in London next year and announced redevelopment plans for the five-red-AA-star, 216-bedroom Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge.

Zabeel House in London will be located in Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch. It will open with around 200 bedrooms.

The first Zabeel House opened in Dubai earlier this year. London will the second.

Interesting major cities will be the target for future openings.

The Jumeirah Group currently operate three properties in London: Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Jumeirah Lowndes hotel and Grosvenor House Suites in London.

EventCity, the conference and events venue in Manchester, has revealed its vision for the future following planned major local transport and infrastructure upgrades. 

EventCity is located in TraffordCity, six miles from Manchester city centre. However, the one key element which has played an important role in attracting new enquiries is the planned £350million Trafford Park Metrolink line, which is currently underway and due to arrive at EventCity’s doorstep in 2020.

EventCity already benefits from the area’s 1,000 hotel bedrooms and its 2,000 free onsite parking spaces. There are a further 1,000 hotel bedrooms scheduled to open.

The Metrolink line will have six new tram stops including Intu Trafford Centre, Imperial War Museum North, Old Trafford football stadium and Manchester International Airport.
