Plans have been unveiled for a new budget hotel concept about to be launched in the UK to be branded: NoCo.

NoCo is the brainchild of the Ennismore Group, operators of the Hoxton Shoreditch in London as well as Gleneagles in Scotland.

Each NoCo site will have between 150 and 200 bedrooms, with rates under £100. The hotels will be technology-based with booking and check-in carried out via an app.

Guestrooms will be compact and comfortable and the restaurants will aim to become destinations in their own right.

Ennismore is planning to open 25 NoCo hotels in key cities across the UK, with the first opening in 2018.
