Trafford Waters is a new development planned in Manchester. The developer, Peel Land and Property, has submitted a planning application for a mixed-use development on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal, in Trafford, which will include leisure, retail and commercial space.

The leisure element will include two hotels: one in the commercial area and a boutique hotel on the canal bank near the entrance to the waterway.

Trafford Waters represent a major £1billion planned investment in the area. The planning application will be considered by Trafford Council’s Planning Development Control Committee and a decision is expected later this year.

Lumiere London is a new venue which has recently opened on London's Southbank. Lumiere London consists of two studio loft spaces each comprising 2,000 square feet and each with a high ceiling and loads of natural daylight. The rooms are equipped with a sound system, projector and microphone, flip-charts, Smart plasma televisions and wi-fi.

The blank canvas studio space can be used for corporate events such as product launches and workshops as well as dinners and parties for between 80 and 150 delegates. Catering services are provided by Eden Catering and include breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as refreshments during the day.

Lumiere London is located in Silex Street, Southwark - a short walk from Southwark tube station on the Jubilee line and ten minutes from Waterloo Station.

The Foundry is new meeting space which has recently opened in Vauxhall in London. The Foundry is a large Edwardian industrial unit built in 1902. It has been home to various manufacturing and distribution companies over the years. In 2013 The Foundry began a total refurbishment and a new modern extension was added.

Now complete, The Foundry has 2,900sq-mt of office space with communal facilities, a conference hall and six meeting rooms plus exhibition space. An on-site café will open mid-2015 but full catering is available in the interim. The Foundry has been designed to be accessible and energy efficient and all spaces can be used in a variety of configurations.

The Foundry has been established by the Social Justice and Human Rights Centre Company Limited and is home to a number of leading Trusts and Foundations. However, all non-office space can be booked by both voluntary and private sector organisations.

The Foundry contains seven meeting rooms of different sizes that can be adapted to meet specific needs. The main Conference Hall can host events for up to 90 delegates theatre style. It is located on the ground floor adjacent to the atrium.
The centre’s additional six meeting rooms will seat between 10 and 80 delegates including top floor meeting space which can be combined to accommodate up to 120 delegates theatre style. The Foundry can be booked for conferences, AGMs, informal meetings, training and interviews.

The Foundry is located in Oval Way between Oval and Vauxhall tube stations in south London.

Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford is a new 150-bedroom hotel planned at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Emirates Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. Construction is expected to begin later this year, with an opening scheduled for early 2017.

The new hotel will replace the existing on-site 68-bedroom Old Trafford Lodge. It will be the final part of the overall redevelopment of Emirates Old Trafford stadium; a development which features The Point, an eye-catching conference and events facility to accommodate up to 1200 guests.

Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford will join Hilton's expanding portfolio of hotels alongside major sporting venues. These include Hilton Wembley, Hilton at St George's Park near Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire, DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes and Hilton at the Ageas Bowl which is due to open later this year in Southampton.

JD Wetherspoon is aiming to create 16 luxury hotel rooms at the Dee Hotel in West Kirby on the Wirral. It is part of a £1million refurbishment of the property. At present there is a Wetherspoon pub and restaurant on the ground floor. The bedrooms are planned for the upper floors of the building which are currently not used. Plans for the new hotel rooms have been submitted to Wirral Council.

The Dee Hotel features a distinctive Tudor-style façade. The building opened as a Wetherspoon pub in 2001. It is located on the banks of the River Dee in Merseyside.
