The new Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre is now open.

The purpose-built facility at the home of the Farnborough International Airshowboasts more than 20,000sq-mt of flexible events space.

Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre joins a range of existing venues on the site.

Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre is situated minutes from the M3 motorway and is easily accessible by road, rail and air. The main station is located just over a mile away from the business park. It is 40 miles to central London and 25 miles to Heathrow Airport.

Hotel management company, Valor Hospitality Partners, has established a dedicated food and beverage team to deliver a new hotel dining concept throughout the hotels it operates.

The new dining concept is designed to rival high street restaurant options.

A separate food and beverage company has been created. It will operate under the Valor umbrella. It will work on projects not only in the UK, but in the USA and South Africa too.

The new company will oversee the entire F&B process, from restaurant design and branding to menu curation and staff training.

The F&B team has already delivered the Store Street Exchange and Store Street Craft Bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester. This is a breakfast through to dinner restaurant.

In Leeds, the team has created The Lock Kitchen & Bar at DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds which is located on the Leed’s waterfront.

Hyatt Hotels group has announced that the new hotel currently under development at Great Scotland Yard in London will join Hyatt’s Unbound Collection.

The historic former headquarters of London's Metropolitan Police in Westminster is currently being developed as a luxury lifestyle hotel.

It is expected to open fourth quarter of 2018 with 153 bedrooms.

The building is rich in history. It is where the police pursued some of the country’s most notorious criminals, including Jack the Ripper.

The historical character of the Grade II-listed building will be preserved throughout the renovation, including maintenance of its original façade.

Hyatt’s Unbound Collection was created in 2016. It is a collection of upper-upscale and luxury, individual hotel properties - and first launched in the United States. The group is currently planning a European launch with properties lined up in France, Hungary and Turkey as well as the UK.

Conrad London St James Hotel is making the most of its location near New Scotland Yard on the Victoria Embankment in central London.

The hotel has introduced a new delegate ‘detective experience’ as part of its team building activities.

Conrad London St James is working in partnership with The Detective Project to provide an activity-led themed teambuilding exercise around the science of crime solving.

The activity is run by former Scotland Yard trained detectives and Metropolitan Police officers.

Delegates will practice skills such as chromatography and finger print testing whilst kitted out in forensic suits, in a dedicated crime investigation room at the hotel.

Conrad London St. James has 256 bedrooms plus 7,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and events space. It is located in Broadway opposite St James' Park tube station.
