Signature Living, operators of the Shankly Hotel in Liverpool city centre, has resurrected plans to build a slide on the side of the Shankly Hotel.

The 100 foot-long slide would run from the roof terrace of the hotel down to the lobby area.

The hotel’s ‘Garden of Eden’ which will seat up to 250 guests for an event is located on the roof terrace of the Shankly Hotel. The slide would provide a relatively easy, if not entirely dignified entry to the hotel’s lobby area.

If planning permission is granted, the slide could help to raise cash for the city's homeless. Money raised from the slide will be given to The Whitechapel Centre, Signature Living’s new charity partner.
