Principal Hotel Company will operate the new-look Grand Hotel in the centre of Birmingham when it reopens in early 2019.

The Grand Hotel, located within a Grade II-listed Victorian building, will include 180 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, extensive conference and banquet space, a spa and the first rooftop infinity pool in the city.

The Grand Hotel closed in 2002. Since 2009, hotel owners have invested £25million in the restoration of the building resulting in the creation of ten shops and 11,000 sq ft of offices fronting Colmore Row, as well as the hotel itself.

Principal Hotel Company now intend to build the Grand Hotel into “the finest hotel” in Birmingham.

The Grand Hotel will join the group’s other city centre hotels in Manchester, York and Edinburgh as well as its flagship property overlooking Russell Square in central London which reopens this summer following a £75million refurbishment.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham is now open. It follows completion of an extensive £4.5million refurbishment and rebranding of the former Cheltenham Park Hotel.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham has 148 bedrooms, all decorated and furnished to the usual Doubletree standard and including complimentary wi-fi. The deluxe rooms also offer a garden view.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham has a restaurant, bar and lounge plus  extensive meeting and events facilities with thirteen meeting rooms. The Park Suite and the Royal Suite are the two largest rooms seating 250 and 180 delegates theatre style respectively.

Scheduled to open March 2018, the Lincoln Plaza London, Curio Collection by Hilton will be the second Curio branded property to open in the UK.

Lincoln Plaza London will be integrated as part of the 31-storey Lincoln Plaza building at Canary Wharf - with 129 bedrooms, boasting views over the River Thames.

Lincoln Plaza London will feature fine-dining Indian and Mediterranean restaurants, an organic deli, a roof terrace and two bars including a lounge bar at mezzanine level.

Leisure facilities will include a 24-hour fitness centre with a full range of equipment, a pool with whirlpool, a sauna and steam room, plus scheduled fitness classes.

Lincoln Plaza London will have over 465 sq-mt of events space across seven meeting rooms. The Millharbour Suite, the largest space, will seat up to 215 delegates for a theatre style meeting.

Lincoln Plaza London, Curio Collection by Hilton is a three minute walk to the nearest DLR station for a ten minute journey into central London. It is an approximate fifteen minute drive from London City Airport.
