The Mermaid, theatre and conference centre in central London, reopen their Newgate Suite in February 2017 following a £200,000 refurbishment.
The refurbishment has transformed the Newgate Suite into a fully flexible, modern events space.
The Newgate Suite offers a flexible space with plenty of natural daylight. It will seat up to 330 delegates for a theatre style meeting. It is fully equipped with the latest technology as well as being fitted with interconnecting walls to create breakout spaces and smaller meeting areas.
The Newgate Suite joins the main auditorium at the Mermaid which will seat up to 600 delegates.
The Queenhithe Room and the River Rooms overlooking the River Thames completes the line-up of flexible spaces available at the Mermaid.
The Mermaid is situated on the north bank of the Thames between the City and the West End – a two minute walk from Blackfriars train and tube station.

Holiday Inn Birmingham-Bromsgrove opens its new restaurant – The Cow on the Hill - on 30th January 2017.
The Cow on the Hill brand is a new restaurant concept and it will be the first one to be opened by the Kew Green Hotels group, operators of Holiday Inn Birmingham-Bromsgrove.
Diners should expect dishes made with fresh, premium cuts of meat.

Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix, has been awarded a £9million grant to create a motorsport museum.
The museum, to be funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, will include extra private space for groups as well as hi-tech interactive exhibitions with guided tours.
The Silverstone Heritage Experience will be housed in a converted Second World War aircraft hangar and is expected to open in spring 2019.
The Silverstone Circuit already has extensive meeting and events facilities. These include five large events and exhibition halls plus 40 pit garages offering nearly 6,000sq-mt of flexible space, all with HGV access.
Facilities also include a range of smaller, more intimate meeting and breakout rooms as well as balconies overlooking the Grand Prix Circuit.
Silverstone is well located between Birmingham and London, with easy access to all the major transport links.

The new DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Kingston upon Thames is now open with 146 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, a fitness room and meeting facilities.
Hawkers Bar and Brasserie, named after test pilot Harry Hawker, is open every day from breakfast through to dinner in the evening.
Meeting rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Kingston upon Thames include the main Sopworth Suite accommodating up to 260 delegates theatre style and subdividing into two separate rooms.
The smaller Canbury Suite accommodates 32 delegates theatre style and will also subdivide into two. A 10-seater boardroom completes the line-up.

The restaurant’s opening coincides with the £11 million refurbishment of Jurys Inn Oxford Hotel and Conference Venue which has transformed the hotel with newly designed bedrooms and conference facilities.
