The Olde Barn Hotel, as its name suggests, was a rustic country hotel located in Toll Bar Road in the village of Marston near Grantham in the Lincolnshire countryside.
The Olde Barn Hotel then joined the Wyndham Hotel Group in 2014 and was relaunched as The Wyndham Garden Grantham Hotel.
The Wyndham Garden Grantham Hotel then joined the Ramada Resort Group in March 2016. The hotel has just been relaunched again, this time as the Ramada Resort Grantham.
The Ramada Resort Grantham is not to be confused with the former Ramada Grantham Hotel which used to reside in Swingbridge Road in Grantham. This hotel rebranded as the Urban Hotel Grantham. Confused?
Getting back to the Ramada Resort Grantham. It has 110 bedrooms, three conference suites, two meeting rooms and three syndicate rooms plus a bar and restaurant.
The largest meeting room is the Allington Suite which will seat up to 300 delegates theatre style.
The hotel also has a health club which includes a 15m heated indoor swimming pool.
The Ramada Resort Grantham, despite its countryside setting, is still only around a mile from the main A1 in Lincolnshire.

Details have been published of a new hotel planned in Leeds.
The hotel is earmarked for the first phase of a regeneration site on the northern fringe of Leeds city centre in a building last occupied by Centrica. It will be located next to Bridge Street and close to the Victoria Gate scheme in the city.
Plans envisage a recladding of the existing 12-storey tower to form a 182-bedroom hotel with a restaurant and gym. The development is expected to be a three or four star standard hotel although no hotel operator has been confirmed.

Plans have been submitted for a major £180million development of a derelict site in Bristol.
The 2.5 acre site at Redcliff Quarter would include a hotel as well as offices, apartments and a new food court with cafes and restaurants.
Rezidor Hotel Group would operate a 185-bedroom Radisson RED hotel at the development.
The aim of the project is to make Redcliff Quarter a new ‘destination’ in the heart of the city. It is close to the public transport networks and occupies a prime location close to the Harbourside and Bristol's business and retail quarters.
Radisson RED is the group’s new lifestyle brand targetting the millennial market. It will be an upscale four-star standard hotel, the design and theme of which will reflect the area’s industrial past. In this case Redcliff was known as being the centre of the glass-making industry along with rope and ceramics factories.
The first Radisson RED is now open in Brussels.
