The first ‘HS2’ inspired hotel has just opened in the centre of Birmingham. ReVer Inn opened at the end of 2016 with 43 bedrooms and ambitious expansion plans for the future.

ReVer Inn, located in Bromsgrove Street, will be just across the road from planned Birmingham Curzon Street station the terminus for HS2 in Birmingham. However, HS2 is not expected to arrive in the city before 2026 and the new station is still at the design stage.

Putting HS2 to one side, ReVer Inn is located in the Digbeth Quarter of Birmingham. Currently Rever Inn features, bedrooms, a restaurant and bar plus conference and banqueting facilities.

Bedrooms at ReVer Inn are air-conditioned and equipped with the latest in-room technology.

The Banqueting Suite at ReVer Inn will seat up to 350 guests. In addition there are four smaller meeting rooms.

ReVer Inn offers free wi-fi throughout as well as free on-site parking. Future plans include increasing the number of bedrooms to over 200. Extensive leisure facilities including a swimming pool and gym are also envisaged.

ReVer Inn is a ten-minute walk from the Bull Ring and Birmingham New Street station. It is just around the corner from Birmingham Moor Street station. Whilst it is a short walk from the city it is not a particularly ‘pretty walk’ – at the moment. ReVer Inn is surrounded by the old warehouses and factories units which still dominate the Digbeth district of the city.

Perhaps the arrival of HS2 will further fuel the gentrification of Digbeth as well as improving the travel times to and from London.
