Gleneagles Hotel has officially launched its new 2,500 sq-mt  Gleneagles Arena. Gleneagles Arena is a multi-purpose events space available for conferences, product launches and team-building activities. It is located within Gleneagles’ 850-acre estate and is part of the hotel’s Activity School complex. The Arena will accommodate up to 2000 delegates.

Gleneagles Arena features 650 viewing seats, loading bay access doors, 63 integrated ceiling hanging points, LED house lights and oil-fired heating plus a dedicated car park with 500 spaces.

The Arena’s four indoor tennis courts complement Gleneagles’ five existing outdoor tennis courts. They can be booked by both guests at the hotel and non-residents. The Gleneagles Arena is Perthshire’s only indoor tennis facility.

Conference facilities, a visitor centre and incubation units for start-up digital businesses are among plans for Swansea’s Hafod Morfa Copperworks site on the banks of the River Tawe in south Wales. The 12.5 acre site was once the centre of Swansea's copper industry until production stopped finally in 1980.

The site now contains twelve internationally significant industrial heritage buildings and structures.Regeneration work on the site has started as part of a project led by Swansea University and Swansea Council with the support of the Welsh Government. Plans for the site also include a living history laboratory, a new urban square, a brewery, restaurants and the restoration of historic engine sheds for education purposes.

Swansea Council and Swansea University are about to sign a 15-year agreement to further preserve and promote the site.

Melia INNSIDE Manchester hotel has just opened with 208 bedrooms in the centre of Manchester. INNSIDE Manchester is a modern, stylish new-build hotel in Manchester’s First Street development and the first INNSIDE hotel to open in the UK. It is a short walk from Deansgate and Manchester Central.
