Travelodge London City will be located in Middlesex Street at the heart of London’s business district between Aldgate East and Aldgate tube stations.

It will be within walking distance of the Towerof London, London Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Travelodge London City will feature the new Travelodge SuperRooms, a new Bar Café concept and a contemporary reception area.

Further north refurbishment will be complete in February at Travelodge York Central Micklegate.

This Travelodge will also feature the new Travelodge SuperRooms as well as a new bar/café.

The group opened its first Citrus-branded hotel in Coventry last year. The decision to expand reflects the company’s confidence in the brand.

All three hotels become Citrus hotels from 1^st February 2018.

Each hotel has undergone a substantial refurbishment prior to the rebrand.

Citrus Hotel Cardiff, with 83 bedrooms, has completed a £1.2million refurbishment which has included a new reception. It is located in central Cardiff.

Citrus Hotel Cheltenham has 60 bedrooms plus two meeting rooms with private car park. Bedrooms and public areas are being refurbished.  It is located in Bath Road a short distance from the town centre.

Citrus Hotel Eastbourne has 50 bedrooms and two meeting rooms, as well as boasting views across the English Channel. Bedrooms at Citrus Hotel Eastbourne have a new décor. The hotel is 400 metres from the centre of Eastbourne.

It will be the first Mama Shelter hotel to open in the UK.

Mama Shelter was launched in Paris nearly a decade ago. The hotel brand is aimed at the tech-savvy millennial generation.

Accordingly, Mama Shelter hotels offer large open communal spaces with a restaurant and bars plus features such as ping pong tables and photo/video booths for guest use.
