It has been tagged ‘Britain’s coolest new country house hotel’.

It is the new 18-bedroom ‘House at Beaverbrook’ which has just opened on the 400-acre Beaverbrook Estate near Leatherhead in Surrey.

House at Beaverbrook is the latest stage in the larger ‘operation Beaverbrook’ to transform the estate of the late Lord Beaverbrook into a luxury country house hotel and golf club.

House at Beaverbrook features bedrooms named after its most famous guests including Winston Churchill, Ian Fleming and Elizabeth Taylor. It also includes a cutting-edge Japanese restaurant, an Art-Deco cinema and a Roaring Twenties bar.

House at Beaverbrook joins the Grand House on the estate which opened last autumn with 11 bedrooms, a restaurant and a cookery school.

A spa with indoor and outdoor pools, steam room, sauna, hammam and nail bar is expected to open at the end of the year.

The estate’s large lake is also being developed for trout fishing.

The Beaverbrook Estate is located just south of Leatherhead in Surrey.

The UK-based Redwings Lodge Group has recently acquired the 81-bedroom Ramada Inn Birmingham Oldbury.

The acquisition increases the group’s portfolio to six properties across southeast and central England. Ramada Inn Birmingham Oldbury will be sister hotel to the 100-bedroom Redwings Lodge Wolverhampton.

Each bedroom at Ramada Inn Birmingham Oldbury is furnished with a flat screen television, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, complimentary bathroom toiletries and free wi-fi throughout.

Ramada Inn Birmingham Oldbury has a restaurant and bar plus two meeting rooms with the largest seating up to 50 delegates theatre style.

Ramada Inn Birmingham Oldbury is just off the M5 motorway at junction 2 and is six miles from Birmingham city centre.

Redwings now plan to extend the property, adding further bedrooms and a new restaurant.

Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland has just completed its 12-month long, £4million refurbishment.

All 136 bedrooms, including 26 suites, have now been fully revamped in a new contemporary styling with a design scheme taking inspiration from the hotel’s impressive surroundings.

The project has also included a revamp of the food and beverage options at Cameron House as well as the hotel’s other public areas.

The Great Scots Bar Terrace is a new addition which features an open-air space overlooking Loch Lomond.

Cameron House is a five-star resort situated on the banks of Loch Lomond. It offers a range of amenities, from Michelin star dining, seaplane trips and loch cruises plus spa and golf days.

Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford has just been launched. The hotel overlooks the Emirates Old Trafford, home to Lancashire County Cricket Club.

Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford has 150 bedrooms. 85 bedrooms overlook the cricket pitch, 80 of which have balconies. On match days, some of these rooms will be converted to hospitality boxes.

Every bedroom is furnished with either a king or twin-beds, a 40-inch HDTV, a functional work space, ergonomic chair, mini-refrigerator and free wi-fi.

Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford has a restaurant plus a 24-hour ‘Pavilion Pantry’ for quick snacks.

There are no meeting facilities in the hotel but the hotel is surrounded by one of the leading events venues in Manchester with meeting facilities for up to 2000 delegates within the Emirates Old Trafford stadium.

Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford has good access to the M60 motorway and is around 20 minutes from Manchester International Airport. It is a ten-minute drive into central Manchester and a ten-minute walk to Old Trafford, home of Manchester United Football Club.
