The Curtain Hotel will feature Red Rooster restaurant headed by US-based chef Marcus Samuelsson, a private members’ club, a rooftop pool and lounge, a 24-hour fitness centre, treatment rooms, co-working space and 6,000 square feet of events space, with a ballroom and screening room.

The Curtain Hotel will also feature an all-day taqueria and bar on the ground floor.

The private members club will be integrated within the hotel and will feature dedicated areas for members.

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa has undergone a soft internal refurbishment of 103 of its 144 bedrooms. This includes changes to the room décor and the introduction of features such as USB charging points, ergonomic electrical outlets for flexible working with closet lighting also included.

Whilst The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa enjoys a great location alongside the famous 17th Road Hole on the St Andrews Old Course, it also has its drawbacks.

The hotel’s 28-year-old slate roof has been hammered by stray golf balls over the years leading to a considerable amount of damage.

To rectify the problem The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa has installed a rubber roof designed to absorb and deflect the energy from golf ball impact without any dents, cracks or future damage.

A further £7million is now to be spent at the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa upgrading the spa and leisure facilities which will include a new pool and a larger gym.

Future projects include the launch of an elite sports facility.

Scientific research, they claim, shows that cold temperatures are a crucial factor for a productive workforce with performance markedly better in a winter environment.

The six-storey hotel will be a Courtyard by Marriott and will replace the existing Cooper Callas building on the disused industrial site. The hotel will include a restaurant and bar.

The hotel will feature a roof garden and terrace with views of Oxford Castle.

Dominvs is also working alongside Marriott converting of the former Tower Bridge Magistrates Court in central London into a luxury 200-bedroom hotel. Known as The Dixon, this hotel will be part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection
