Plans have been released for a new hotel development in Southwark, London.

A 275 bedroom hotel is planned in Ufford Street on a site adjacent to LeSoCo College. The area has a strong tourist and business base which would be served by the hotel.

Developers, Frogmore, believe there is a shortage of hotel bedrooms in this part of south London unlike, for instance, the neighbouring Waterloo which is well served by both chain and upmarket hotels.
