Park Regis Birmingham opens 29th March 2016. The four-star hotel is the first Park Regis branded hotel in the UK. It is an operated by the Australian-based Stay Well Hospitality Group.
Park Regis Birmingham is housed in a former office block which has been stripped back to its concrete and steel foundations and rebuilt.
Park Regis Birmingham has 16 floors with 253 bedrooms comprising a presidential suite, two junior suites, an executive floor as well as standard and deluxe rooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a 42” flat-screen television, a separate shower or bath, a large bed, free wi-fi, hairdryer, iron and ironing-board, in-room safe, blackout curtains and tea/coffee making facilities.
There is a dedicated meeting floor on level 15 with five meeting rooms – all with loads of natural daylight and accommodating up to 130 delegates.
Leisure facilities include a gym and an urban spa.
The Lobby Restaurant Bar and Garden Terrace - ‘1565′ - is located on the fourth level.
‘Rofuto’ a pan-Asian restaurant and bar is located on the 16th floor. This is a double-height room with floor to ceiling windows constructed on top of the existing building. It offers spectacular views across Birmingham.
Park Regis Birmingham is located at Five Ways overlooking the traffic island at the top end of Broad Street. It is within easy walking distance of the Barclaycard Arena and Birmingham’s Symphony Hall – and slightly further to Birmingham New Street Station. The hotel has its own car park.

Keele University Conferences & Events open their new sporting facilities Easter 2016.
A £1.7million investment will see the addition of a new synthetic 3G football pitch and training pitch as well as the addition of basketball and beach volleyball courts.
Upgrades to the existing AstroTurf and surrounding pathways have been carried out to complement the new facilities. The areas will also be floodlit to allow evening play during winter months.
Bespoke sporting events and packages are now available.
Keele University Conferences & Events has a large range of events spaces to accommodate both small meetings and major events. The facilities include the Grade II-listed Keele Hall boasting the largest ballroom in Staffordshire with 500 sq-mt of flexible conference and banqueting space.

Principal Hayley Group has unveiled plans to develop a new 227-bedroom hotel in Liverpool. The group has acquired the Grade II-listed Martins Bank building in Water Street in Liverpool city centre, which was occupied by Barclays Bank until 2009.
It is also the building where Britain's gold reserves were secretly stored during the Second World War.
The new hotel is expected to include two restaurants, three bars, a spa plus conference and banqueting facilities.
Many of the Grade II-listed building’s original features will also be retained with the main dining area enclosed within the horseshoe-shaped tellers’ counter and the original writing desks kept.
The new hotel will join a portfolio of ten hotels, including the 370-bedroom Hotel Russell in London, which is expected to become the group's flagship property.

Lea Marston Hotel in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham will open 30 new bedrooms in February.
The £2million investment will include 24 new superior rooms, four executive rooms and two bespoke luxury suites.

Detailed plans have been unveiled for redevelopment of the Headingley Stadium complex in Leeds, home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos.
The capacity of the cricket ground section of the stadium will be expanded beyond its 17,500 seats. Corporate facilities will be extended including a new banqueting suite and refurbishment of the Taverners Suite and a new direct link from the Premier Suite to the stand.
The two clubs are now embarking on a consultation process with an exhibition running between 8th and 15th February, with a feedback period open until 16th February 2016.
Funding for the scheme will be provided from a combination of public and private funding including Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos.
