GTG is a training provider to many of the UK’s largest companies. They have premises in Glasgow and Edinburgh and they have recently ventured south of the border opening GTG West Midlands, in Wolverhampton.

As well as providing training services, their facilities are also available for companies to hire for their own training courses, meetings, conferences and events.

GTG West Midlands includes 58,000 sq-ft of training space including three IT rooms, eight classrooms, five craft and technical classrooms, up to nine meeting rooms and a 250-seat theatre style conference suite. There is an on-site cafe and restaurant.

The conference suite at GTG West Midlands can be split into two separate spaces. Facilities include the latest seminar technology, including wi-fi, high speed internet access, plasma screens and presentation systems.

GTG West Midlands is located in Bearing Drive, on the outskirts of Wolverhampton, and has 130 free-of-charge parking spaces on-site.

The `topping out` ceremony has just been held on the new-look Belfast Waterfront, the central Belfast arts, entertainment and conference centre which is due to launch early summer 2016.

Construction work will now concentrate on creating the interior spaces and upgrading the existing building.

Extensions to Belfast Waterfront include the creation of two interconnecting halls; three additional meeting rooms and a new reception area which will integrate with the existing auditorium and studio spaces.

The two new halls will each subdivide into smaller spaces. The three meeting rooms will each accommodate up to 200 delegates and these will also subdivide - into 6 smaller units.

When it opens Belfast Waterfront will be Belfast's largest conference and exhibition facility, catering for up to 5,000 guests across 7,000 sq-mt of flexible event space with a main auditorium to seat up to 2000 people.

Belfast Waterfront extends along the River Lagan embankment in central Belfast, a five minute walk from Belfast Central Station and a five minute drive from Belfast City airport.

Hot on the heels of Bounce opening Ping Pong Shoreditch in London comes news that a Roxy Ball Room, featuring ‘a ping-pong and pool concept’ is to open in Liverpool.

Roxy Ball Room will span 6,929 sq. ft.  It will feature a number of pool and ping-pong tables as well as a VIP room available for private hire that can accommodate groups of up to 60.  It will offer a mix of cocktails, beer and bar snacks including fresh dough pizza and homemade burgers.

Roxy Ball Room will be located on the top floor of 26 College Lane bordering Hanover Street in the Liverpool One complex. It is expected to be open in time for Christmas 2015.

Southend United Football Club has unveiled plans to build a new 21,000-capacity stadium together with a 131-bedroom hotel alongside plus a retail park, a 12-screen cinema, restaurants and residential properties.

In addition, two soccer domes will be developed, one for use by the community and one for Southend United Football Club for training purposes and to aid the Club's Academy aspirations in developing young talent for the future.

The new £80million stadium is planned at Fossetts Farm in Southend. When built it is anticipated it will play a huge role in regenerating the seaside town. Southend United currently play home games at Roots Hall stadium in the town. It was built in 1952 and has a capacity of just 12,000.

Plans are currently at the public consultation stage.

Hilton Worldwide has teamed up with EQ Group to open DoubleTree by Hilton London - Kingston upon Thames.  The hotel with 146 bedrooms and suites will open in the latter half of 2016. It will include a restaurant and a bar as well as conference and meeting space.

DoubleTree by Hilton London - Kingston upon Thame will be located adjacent to the River Thames in the centre of Kingston upon Thames. The existing building on the site, at the corner of Skerne Road and Down Hall Road, is currently undergoing a multi-million pound fit-out and conversion.

DoubleTree by Hilton London - Kingston upon Thames will be a five minute walk from Kingston station and is twelve miles from central London.
