Z hotels are planning two new hotels in central London – both opening in the near future.
Z at Gloucester Place will be spread over four buildings: 23, 33 and 51-55 Gloucester Place and will operate as one hotel offering the same facilities and features. The larger building, 51-55 Gloucester Place, will provide a larger seating and reception area, with a comprehensive breakfast buffet served together with a 24/7 fully licensed facility.
The hotel will include 89 bedrooms across the properties ranging in size from 13-30 sq-mt and include standard, superior and executive bedrooms plus junior suites. The Z bedroom includes an en-suite wet room, a 40” television with a full selection of Sky channels and complimentary wi-fi.
Z at Gloucester Place is a short walk to Baker Street, Marylebone, Edgware Road and Marble Arch tube stations.
Z at Gloucester Place is scheduled to open January 2016.
Z City on the other hand is a conversion of a former office building nestled between Aldwych and Ludgate Circus. It will include 110 bedrooms arranged over lower ground, ground and three upper floors. Z City will offer a range of Z double, queen, and accessible rooms plus inside or windowless rooms.
Z City is located in Fleet Street opposite the Royal Courts of Justice.
Z City is scheduled to open in December 2015.
Both properties will join existing Z Hotels in London: in Soho, Piccadilly, Victoria and Shoreditch.

Plans for a new 103-bedroom Roomzzz Aparthotel to be built on the Great Yorkshire Showground are being submitted to Harrogate Borough Council.
The Roomzzz Aparthotel will operate on a room-only basis with no public sales of food or drink. It will have a 24-hour concierge and it will have the advantage of being on-site at the showground.
The Great Yorkshire Showground hosts around 700 events every year.
Meanwhile Yorkshire Event Centre on the Great Yorkshire Showground is currently constructing a new exhibition hall in place of the old exhibition hall One.
The new hall will offer a clear span space of 4,320 square metres for exhibitions, corporate events, large-scale conferences and awards. It will also have a café, large foyer, offices and dedicated seminar space. The building will link directly to Hall Two, giving a total area of 6,270 square metres, enabling event organisers to use either the whole space or one hall, dependent on requirements. Completion is scheduled for late spring 2016.
The Great Yorkshire Showground is located on the outskirts of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.

Plans for a new 115-bedroom Holiday Inn Express as part of the Stockport Exchange scheme have been unveiled. The hotel will include a restaurant, bar and meeting facilities. The hotel's design will reflect the town's history with particular reference the Grade II-listed Victorian covered market nearby.
It is expected to open in 2017.Stockport Exchange is located next to Stockport station and when complete will create a new commercial district and business hub for the town.
The Holiday Inn Express is part of the second phase of the Stockport Exchange development which also includes a five-storey office block and a pedestrianised public space serving as a gateway from Stockport station into the town.

Wickham House in West Berkshire has just opened its doors for business events. Wickham House is a Grade II-listed Georgian house at the heart of a 52-acre estate and it will only be available for exclusive hire. Facilities available include the Barn, the Pavilion and part of the main house.
The Barn is a boardroom style meeting room for up to 24 delegates. The Pavilion, built in the style of a Mediterranean villa with the swimming pool on one side and the tennis court on the other, will seat 12 people. In the main house the dining room and adjoining drawing room will cater for up to 16 guests. There is a marquee site in front of the house for up to 400 guests.
Privacy and discretion will be the order of the day at Wickham House with the owners aiming to create a discreet outpost for closing deals, directors’ meetings and strategy sessions - ‘a space away from city speculation’.
Wickham House is accessible in an hour from London via the M4. It is fifty miles from Heathrow and five miles from Newbury station.

Amaris Hospitality operators of Jurys Inns has announced a major rebranding exercise starting in November 2015.
Eight hotels which are currently part of the Hotel Collection portfolio will be rebranded as Jurys Inns. The list includes:

Starting November 2015, each hotel will begin a refurbishment programme; including the introduction of a new Jurys Inn bespoke ‘Dream Bed’ featuring upgraded mattresses, pillows and bed linen. The ground floor public areas will incorporate a new contemporary décor, modern furnishings and artwork. All the hotels will feature complimentary wi-fi throughout.
This development takes the Jurys Inn estate to 36 hotels located throughout the UK, Ireland and Prague.
Amaris Hospitality is a new collection of hotels created by American private equity group Lone Star. The group is to planning spend over £100million on rebranding its 21-hotel portfolio.
