Jurys Inn Leeds has just been awarded four-star status following its recently completed £2million makeover.

The refurbishment included a redesign of all 248 bedrooms and public areas plus the addition of a new restaurant, bar and all-day Costa coffee bar. Bedrooms are equipped with a flatscreen television with Freeview and free wi-fi. 15 new executive rooms introduced in 2014 feature a super-king sized bed, a full Sky TV package (including movies and sports), a Tassimo coffee machine with Costa coffee, an in-room refrigerator, an in-room safe and luxury toiletries.

Jurys Inn Leeds has a restaurant, bar and cardio gym and offers free wi-fi throughout. Three first-floor, newly refurbished meeting rooms will accommodate from 5 to 60 delegates; each equipped with the latest audio visual equipment.

Malmaison Newcastle has completed a refurbishment of its brasserie restaurant and bar and upgraded all 122 bedrooms and suites. The brasserie restaurant is now at the front of the hotel with views across the River Tyne, Millennium Bridge and the Tyne Bridges.

The Chez Mal Bar is located at the back of the hotel and features a 'loft style' look featuring ‘distressed’ open brickwork.The upgraded bedrooms include the signature Malmaison bed, a 42inch smart television, an enhanced working area and Pop Art on the walls. One entire floor has a shipbuilding theme as befits the hotel’s location on the banks of the River Tyne.

Malmaison Newcastle is located on Newcastle’s Quayside in a Grade II-listed former warehouse built in 1900 to house the Cooperative Society.

Regent Street Cinema in London dubbed “the birthplace of British cinema” but used as a lecture hall by the University of Westminster since 1980 has been restored at a cost of £6million including  a £1.5million Heritage Lottery Fund grant. The cinema is the site where the Lumière brothers first revealed their 'moving pictures' to the nation.

The 187-seat cinema is available for corporate hire for events and meetings. It is one of the few cinemas in the country to show 16mm and 35mm film, as well as the latest in 4K digital film. It is also equipped with a fully working Compton Organ. The Regent Street Cinema has a fully licensed bar.

Regent Street Cinema is attached to the University of Westminster in London’s Regent Street, a short walk from the Oxford Circus tube station.

Flemings Hotel in London’s Mayfair is investing £14million in a major refurbishment, due for completion in the first quarter of 2016.

Work, which has already begun, will see 129 bedrooms, suites and apartments renovated, alongside a new tea lounge and bar plus a new restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Shaun Rankin.

The refurbishment will take place in stages with rooms completed floor-by-floor so the hotel can remain open. The first 40 bedrooms will be completed in June.

The new restaurant will launch in March 2016. It will have 80 covers and will offer a modern British menu, along with a Chef’s Table and two private dining rooms.

Flemings Hotel dates back to 1851 and it remains a family owned hotel. It is located in Half Moon Street just off Piccadilly in the heart of Mayfair; a three minute walk from Green Park tube station.

Westmont Hospitality Group, the new owner of the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, is planning a major £4million refurbishment of the landmark hotel on the Manchester/Salford border.

A comprehensive makeover is planned for the 165-bedroom hotel including new curtains, carpets, fabrics and colour schemes throughout the bedrooms and public areas. The upgrade is designed to introduce a fresher look, whilst maintaining the modern feel of the hotel. The refurbishment will take around six months and completion is expected by the end of 2015.

The Lowry Hotel is located on Dearmans Place next to Trinity Bridge a short walk from Deansgate in central Manchester. It is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World consortium.
