London Marriott Hotel Kensington has re-launched its meeting and events space following a £1.3million refurbishment.

London Marriott Hotel Kensington now has nine interlinking meeting and conference rooms accommodating up to 100 delegates in the largest room. All conference facilities offer free wi-fi access, integrated projectors, screens and sound systems.

London Marriott Hotel Kensington has 216 bedrooms and features a seven-story atrium which includes the Atrium Restaurant. The hotel is located in Cromwell Road a short walk from Gloucester Road and Earls Court tube stations.

A £4.5 million restoration has just been completed at Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa in Northamptonshire. The hotel is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and it lists the names of Queen Elizabeth I and Henry VIII in its visitors book. More recently the hotel has been setting of the television drama Wolf Hall.

Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa is a four red star Grade I-listed hotel. The renovation has included a redecoration and refurnishing of the Great Hall. The reception, restaurant, bar and lounge areas have been redesigned, with new interior detail. All the meeting rooms, the conservatory, ground floor areas and bedrooms throughout the Main House and Georgian Knightley Court have been refurbished. The Spa has also had a facelift with new equipment and fittings.

Mercure London Watford Hotel has announced the refurbishment of 100 of its 218 bedrooms. The extensive renovation includes the redesign of 100 classic bedrooms and is set to be complete by the end of March.

Holiday Inn Solihull is carrying out a £1million refurbishment of its ground floor public areas. Work will include building a new outdoor heated terrace accessed from the hotel lounge by new floor-to-ceiling folding doors. The terrace will overlook the hotel's lake and fountain. The terrace will also include a contemporary bar.

The hotel reception, lounge, bar and main restaurant will also be refurbished and these are due to be completed by late March. A refurbishment of the hotel bedrooms will start later this year. Holiday Inn Solihull will operate as normal throughout the refurbishment programme.

The Wellcome Collection in London has recently reopened following a £17.5 million refurbishment of its event spaces and conference centre.

The centrepiece of the Wellcome Collection is the Henry Wellcome Auditorium, a tiered auditorium to accommodate up to 154 delegates with the Williams Lounge alongside as breakout space. Four smaller meeting rooms, two of which can be combined, are also available and will accommodate between 40 and 80 delegates theatre style.

The Medicine Now gallery can host evening drinks receptions for up to 200 guests. The gallery features modern scientific issues around the world as seen through the eyes of artists, scientists and patients and includes a printout of the entire human genome sequence.

The Wellcome Collection is located in Euston Road, virtually overlooking London Euston mainline and tube station with Euston Square tube station adjacent.
