New Hotel opens in Glasgow

Celtic Manor Resort in south Wales has just acquired it’s near neighbour, the Hilton Newport hotel. Hilton Newport will be renamed in due course.

Hilton Newport has 148 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar and extensive leisure facilities including a swimming pool.

Hilton Newport has nine flexible, air-conditioned meeting rooms accommodating from two to 300 delegates. The hotel is located just off the M4 at junction 24.

In June 2015 Celtic Manor Resort received planning consent for the new Wales International Convention Centre on its estate.

easyHotel group is planning to open in Birmingham. The group has acquired a four-storey Grade II-listed property in John Bright Street in the city centre and plan to invest £4.5million converting it into an 84 bedroom hotel.

easyHotel Birmingham will be a two minute walk from New Street station and the Bull Ring Centre in the heart of Birmingham.

easyHotel Birmingham is scheduled to open in 2017 subject to planning approval.

Aura Commerce and Technology Centre is a dedicated meeting and events venue located in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes is a new hotel opening close to London Heathrow airport in April 2016.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes will have 170 contemporary-styled guestrooms and suites each equipped with a state-of-the-art media and work centre plus a 42" flat-panel HDTV and free wi-fi.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes will feature a free Gallery Kitchen Breakfast. There is also a Gallery Cafe and a Gallery Market serving sandwiches, pastries, salads and desserts during the day. Public computers with high-speed internet access will be available free of charge for guest use in the Gallery.

Leisure facilities will include a 24-hour StayFit Gym

Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes will include four meeting rooms encompassing 192 sq-mt of indoor event space and all with natural daylight.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes is located in Hayes Gate House in Uxbridge Road, Hayes, just north of the M4 at junction 3 - with secure parking.

The easyHotel group has acquired a site in the centre of Ipswich and plans to convert it into a 94 bedroom hotel. The Grade II-listed property in Northgate Street was formerly a nightclub.

easyHotel targets the `super budget’ segment of the hotel industry marketing “clean, comfortable and safe” hotel rooms.

easyHotel Ipswich will represent a £4million investment for the group. Subject to planning approval being granted easyHotel Ipswich should be open in 2017.

easyHotels currently operate hotels in London, Glasgow and Croydon with a development pipeline including Liverpool, Manchester and various cities in Europe.
